This page was created in the context of our May 2026 Futures Exhibition, but the questions it raises are bigger than one afternoon.
Student teams from this year's Entrepreneurship Lab spent the semester working closely with local entrepreneurs, associations, and municipalities to develop concrete, collective strategies for strengthening social cohesion and building more livable neighbourhoods across three Geneva districts.
Rather than presenting their work as a traditional pitch, each group created an experience: visitors were invited to step into a neighbourhood in 2031, where their projects had been running for five years. Through installations, stories, and interactive formats, the aim was to feel what these futures could look like, not simply hear about them.
The Geneva Responsible Entrepreneurship Center is based at the Geneva School of Economics and Management (GSEM), University of Geneva. We conduct research, design educational programmes, and build community around a single conviction: entrepreneurship must serve more than a market.
We work at the intersection of collective action, civic wealth creation, and responsible innovation, bridging academic research and real-world practice across Geneva's rich institutional landscape.

In Greek, kairos means the right moment, when conditions align for something meaningful to happen.
Kairos is the physical home we are building for responsible entrepreneurship in Geneva. More than an incubator or a research lab, it is conceived as a space located in the heart of the city where students, entrepreneurs, researchers, and civic actors come together to imagine and build ventures that serve people and places, not just markets.
We believe Geneva is at such a moment: a city with extraordinary institutional richness, a growing awareness that economic thinking must evolve, and a generation of entrepreneurs ready to build differently.
Rooted in GREC's work at the Geneva School of Economics and Management, Kairos will sit at the intersection of university, city, and ecosystem, open, experimental, and deeply embedded in the urban fabric of Geneva. It will offer space to think, to collaborate, to fail, and to build ventures with long-term value for communities and society.
